Bo Pix Nix was the only one on that list that was viewed as a potential bust.

Brah this board was in Chernobyl mode in 2017 over the possibility of the Saints taking Mahomes. There are posters that STILL claim Jackson isn’t good and Allen is the go to example of one everyone missed on. I would need documentation that you thought a QB from Wyoming with a 57% comp % in college would be good.

None of us really knows if these guys will pan out. Just claiming everyone will bust is easy and lazy. It also depends on where they get drafted. If they get drafted by Cleveland or the Jets then much great chances of being a bust.

Well he has no track record yet. He was always in a situation with a clear #1

Fair but that’s still better than Allen

ETA and is Tua bad? He seems pretty good when healthy he’s just brittle

What are his big traits? Like I said in another thread, what's his apex comp?

I heard one today. Joe Montana. Not the 4× Super Bowl winner & 3× Super Bowl MVP that everyone remembers either. The comparison revolved around the smaller sized QB coming out of Notre Dame who had questions about his arm strength who ended up being a 3rd round pick (82 pick overall) in 1979.

I don't want Daddy Deion's influence anywhere near Saintsville

He's not bad in a certain system (ignoring the injury concerns), but if we knew we were getting Tua at 9, would we pull the trigger? Can you win a title with Tua?

Ok Nuss wasn't that great last season. Numerous games he completed around 50% of his passes. I don't get the logic.

#9 needs to be a player that will be an impactful player day 1.

Yes lets bank on a QB with 95 total passes in his career or the QB from your favorite college a year from now

If I’m laying money down on a qb to be successful, him having the last name Manning is jumping to the top of the list.

In theory sure, I mean would you have thought Hurts would win a title? I’m really not a fan of just waiting for the perfect guy to come around especially one with multiple years of college eligibility remaining that doesn’t “need” the money.

Ideal scenario would be trading down with CLE, NYG, or Pitt and getting their #1 next year so they can foolishly take Shady Sanders or Dart this season. We use the lower pics to build up our interior offensive line

Then we are ready to present Arch / Garrett with the best young offensive line in the NFL next season.

Or typical saints fashion, you do the 1st part of your post and then carr has a career/MVP type season so we have a low pick and carrs arm falls off in training camp

The #1 reason to not draft Sanders or Dart...

Because you can trade back for more picks and get Milroe or Howard in the 4th

He had 3 really poor games. He also had 50 attempts in those games because the running game was MIA and the defense couldn’t stop shite so we were always playing from behind.

57.5% vs Florida
50% vs Aggy
43.1% vs Ole Miss

For Sanders - his Daddy. I don't want Prime sticking his big mouth into the running of the Saints in any way, and he would.

Dart - not opposed to dart unless it's too early. Trade down into later in the 1st or early second and I'm fine with it.
