McClain has been around the Texans for a very long time. I'd say he has insiders there and knows the pulse of that team.

I agree with him. This shouldn't even be a decision and yet it just stretches on and on.

I think Watson is going to ATL, but I will say, McClain has been very wrong with his guesses about everything through this entire thing so I'm not really sure this matters

Why? What about his time in New Orleans has you convinced that he isn't worthy of being the Saints' QB1?

If he picks the Falcons over the Saints it means winning isn't his #1 priority.

That's fine, really, but a bit unfortunate for the Saints.

It's so fricking obvious.

He picked Atlanta. They can't make the trade yet until they dump Ryan.

Saints are his backup option if for some reason Atlanta can't make it happen with Ryan.

But it's clear ATL is all in, so one way or another, they'll make it work.

Right, it shouldn't. The Saints are a much better team and this is a slamdunk easy choice.

And yet...

its clear he doesn't want to be a Saint, I'm checking out and thinking about all the saved draft picks

As far as I'm concerned he's Atlanta bound, enjoy that mediocre roster

I'm not sure he's "picked" Atlanta yet but at minimum he is giving them time to show him what they can do for him.

I think it’s a done deal too. Atlanta is his choice. My opinion. We are left holding our ducks again. This team just can’t seem to get the QB to replace Drew.

Mediocre right now and a lot of good draft picks given up that would have potentially strengthened the roster up. Atlanta will be house poor with Watson.

I like us keeping Ceedy and those 1st round picks. We will be ok either way. I trust Loomis .

Go ahead and have Winston locked up. Tell em, we know Watson is Atlanta bound, but we gotta keep offer on table so Watson uses us to get a mega contract from falcons

Who was 5-2, with 1,170 yards, 14 TD's, and 3 INTs before he got hurt. And this was with a weak OL and a terrible corps of WRs. So I ask again...what in his time as a Saint has you convinced it is time to ship him out?
