I believe he will have a much bigger role in this offense than what we imagined. We will see alot of big plays from this young man

Why can't we have both?

Well Kamara has his entire career still ahead of him and AP is a luxury given Ingram is a very capable every down back. If Kamara continues on the track he's on he's easily the bigger addition IMO.

He seems to have a lot of heart and very hungry. Will be fun to watch. Watching Tommy Lee last night was fun as well.

True. Faster and more versatile. We didnt NEED another Ingram. Needed another Sproles.
AP / AD is nice, but Kamara is gonna be a star in this offense

Well we have no idea what we're getting with AP yet. We need to see him in a real game situation first. I'd also like to see Kamara against someone other than the Browns.

That said, I think Kamara can be the screen/3rd down back we have been sorely missing since Sproles. If so it's tough to beat that kind of impact

True. Peterson and Ingram overlap roles. The difference is negligible if any. The difference between Kamara and cadet is night and day.

True. Again, the hype a 32 year old RB two years removed from being good is way over warranted.

I get he's a freak but I am not counting on AP as anything more than a role player.

Even though I think AP will have a nice season, Kamara is going to bring that Bush/Sproles role back to the offense that we haven't seen in a while. And he will make the offense more efficient. So I'll say true.

I will lean toward "T" because Kamara fills a role that gives Payton a warm fuzzy. The smallish, elusive RB who can pop runs and catch out of the backfield. AP is an amazing talent but he's a traditional RB. Kamara could give us what Bush and Sproles brought to the offense.

That's big shoes to fill. We are talking about Adrian Peterson here. Kamari will be great for us this year and years to come though.

He looked good on that first drive.

Two things that I take from last night.

1) I didn't like seeing Kamara running between the tackles, because of possible contact.

I understand that this is necessary to see that it can do it and to show that he can do it. We need to showcase that Kamara can do everything while he is on the field. Not just a guy that we are going to run onto the field for a screen pass or outlet receiver. Linebacker will have to respect his ability to carry the ball on all downs.

2) I think that Kamara is going to be a huge part of this offense and I hope unlike Bush that Payton understand how and when to use him.

His size is comparable to almost all of our running backs.

False...they are both big additions to this team, and if they can all stay healthy the Saints will have a formidable three headed monster at RB this season.
