He can come here and win, something he has never been able to do with his former teams. Maybe that will motivate him

Playing alongside one of, if not the, nfl’s greatest motor in cam Jordan... that also helps

I'm so giddy. It's going to be an F5 type of day.

Same. This is the most excited I’ve been about a potential FA maybe ever. Even with Brees there were so many questions with that surgery that the decent success he had seemed like his ceiling to me at the time.

Seriously. This guy is a personal foul and suspension waiting to happen. I think he could potentially do great things on our defense, but to say there's no question marks?

his question marks are far outweighed by his ability IMO

I'm picturing Cam on a designed QB keeper up the middle and Suh just destroying him

i'm hard right now

Hey. I'm not saying don't sign him. But with his history, I have "concerns" on how it would actually play out here.

-He’s missed 2 games his entire career from suspensions.

-those are the only 2 games he has ever missed

Fairley had his attitude and question marks as well. He also lost his temper a few times costing us timley penalties, but everyone was ok with him bc of his impact.

ETA: yes I realize Suh will be making a lot more money for that risk.

Man him, Jordan, and Rankins are all guys that can and should draw double teams, and unless you are keeping the back AND TE in to block one of them is going to be singled up.

Speaking of, teams needing to keep a back and/or TE in to block helps one of our greatest weaknesses year after year: covering backs and TEs with our LBs.

Along with Davis, after watching videos on him and seeing how he fully committed to improving his game especially in pass coverage (no coincidence his pff coverage score skyrocketed), we should be much harder to pass on.

If we somehow someway land a really good pass rusher (or have someone make a huge jump) this will be a deadly defense. I just pray for health for once.

Alphas will like Suh playing here, the betas will be upset and “worried” about him being rude to other players

I highly doubt we are going to be able to sign him or prevent him from going onto other visits. We are going to have to be very creative to find a way to fit him under the cap. However, there are many teams with a lot more money that could push us out of the running.

Yep, hell on run downs teams many times even have to double Davison, not so much on pass downs of course.

I raher have that guy for 14 games due to possible suspension rather then not. He us a difference maker.

Cam, Suh, Davidson and Rankins would wreck havock

How often do FAs sign with the first team they visit immediately, cancelling their other visits? Serious question. Do we realistically have a shot at signing this dude today? If we do, I'll be happier than a queer in a dick tree

Jordy Nelson's first visit was Oakland I think.

It's a player/agent dependent thing. Some feel like it's a match with money and team, they'll just take it then and there. Some rather be courted.
