Could be worse. Could be SF.

Though I do put a lot of credence behind the theory that they have limited physicality in NFL practice so much that when there is actually full speed football these injuries are happening at a higher rate (seemingly) because they bodies are not conditioned to it. The caveat to that is the bodies that do not experience these injuries are lasting longer than they did 20, 30 and 40 years ago.

I don’t think that’s it. I think you simply have bigger and faster players playing the game at a quicker pace and it’s more spread out than ever.

Sports science is ever evolving and we’re are squeezing out every bit of muscle power we can. Unfortunately having guys play this contact sport this fast in wide open spaces just creates a ton of stop/start explosive forces through their connective tissue that is already worked to the max because of the amount of muscle they’re carrying.

Would be still nice to have AK week one. I do have supreme confidence in TE and man look out for Estime!

Kamara was going to play at best a complimentary piece mostly in the passing game

Etienne you paid a ton of money to. Ride him out for 2 weeks

This isn't a big deal imo

It's cracking me up at how ESPN is treating this like a major blow to the Saints offense. Slow news day, I guess.

Saints should have traded him when they had the chance. He is a running back; Those wheels lose tread faster than any other position. If they want to keep him, he needs to be transitioned to more limited use; Use him as a third down receiving threat and in the slot.

I’m not even mad about this. Etienne is starting, Kendre time to step up or get cut

At least he can’t hurt anything else while he’s out

It’s the NFL. The schedule never pans out like people think it will. Who had Seattle and NE in the Super Bowl last August?

As a Saints, Pelicans and Astros fan, I can’t remember what it’s like to not have injuries completely derailing the every season.

Did we have no injuries in 2009, 2011 or the four years in a row of winning the division?
Is this year derailed?

This injury has nothing to do with his age or Ochsner

A player fell on his leg.
