@RapSheet: The #Browns are expected to waive safety Derrick Kindred today, source said. He was slated to be a starter. Cleveland had shopped Kindred, who was...

I’ve heard Kindred has a good spirit

Browns making moves today. I would not mind taking a flyer on Ogbah for a late 2020 pick.

This is hilarious. Literally everything he said in his post was completely wrong. Cook would only sign with saints for long term deal. Quinn was a done deal. 0 sources.

Cook signed for 2 years, longer than the 1 year Oakland wanted.
Compensation for Quinn was consistent, he was also given a frick ton more money than us.
So both were actually accurate.

Is Ansah still a possibility?
Posted on 4/1/19 at 9:21 pm to Laman1978
It’s wait and see with his shoulder injury, which is why he’s only taken maybe two official visits since free agency. That, and he wants a big money, one year deal.
Quinn was the real play for the Saints. I can’t see them ponying up the cash Ansah will want with Jordan and Davenport on the team.
I’m real curious to get some info on Suh. Planning on seeing my buddy tomorrow so I’ll pick his brain for y’all.

Sounds like it’s time for a one year prove it deal....

I'd rather they go after McCoy than Suh, that is of course if Tampa Bay doesn't bring him back for his final year.

There are some idiots on this board. I really didn’t realize how many people would be dumb enough to believe this kid seeking attention. People are actually asking him to ask his “source” questions.
Too bad we don’t have admins to ban people who claim to have sources. This post would have been taken down in 2 minutes on the rant.

Your obsession with zombie is disturbing. There definitely should be a ban hammer dropped, but it's not to be on him. Stalkers like you need the hammer.
Zombie has been on this board for quite some time now. While he can be one who sky screams at draft picks sometimes, he's always been a solid poster offering good content. What have you done other than obsess?

Met my buddy for lunch today. Seafood in Louisiana is always a good time to talk Saints. Had a person at the table next to us talking about how the Saints were sold to Mark Cuban yesterday. Poor guy was dead serious until someone called him an April Fool. Oh well.
The Saints are still very much in play for Ziggy, but that shoulder injury is a big concern and they are more than patient to let things play out and if Buffalo ponies up more to get him to commit. The time for Ziggy to have signed was earlier, as now most teams have all but wrapped up their main spending in free agency and are focused on the draft. Ziggy wanted big money for a year now loses its appeal when a team can draft a young DE without the injury concerns. Personally, I just don't see it and I see Ziggy as a bit of an expensive luxury with a huge injury concern.
My buddy said there has been no word that he's aware of on Suh. Suh has limited the teams interested in him because he wants big money (albeit being average last year) and he also wants to stay on the West Coast. So the Raiders, 49ers, or Seahawks are all his preferred team, and it would take a different team to spend more money to get him, and to be honest, not many teams will do that for Suh.
My buddy told me that this process has really humbled a few guys, like Ziggy and Suh. And even Cook to an extent. They thought they'd all be signing huge deals with large guaranteed money, but their markets never materialized.
He did say the Saints would try to be active in the draft this year, despite having lack of draft picks in the first 3 rounds. Look for picks 40 - 46 to be very intriguing to them if a player they covet falls. As far as what they covet, that's really anyone's guess. The Saints will focus on small school standouts flying under the radar, or college veteran players that have displayed durability and leadership. Those two things are some of the most important traits to a winning organization.
Also, don't be shocked if the receiver position isn't addressed in the draft either. It sounds like the Saints are content to role with a healthy Meredith and Trequan Smith after a full offseason with the team.
All I have for now. Sorry it's not much, but with the draft three weeks away, the main focus is on that.
Also, a special thank you to those who keep things civil and fun around here. I know I can be a hot head during game days, but it comes from a place of passion and a love for this team, and I do enjoy talking it with most of you.

So let me get this straight. The saints have had zero conversation with suh yet your “source” has insight into suh’s mind? Just want to make sure I’m reading this right?
Also suh has been humbled yet he claims to only want a big contract?

Dude you’re going way overboard and I think zombie is obviously just trolling with this as well. That opening paragraph was a give away and a pretty clear sign he’s just fricking with us
