Man you're one annoying, obsessive piece of shite, but I'm gonna go ahead and humor you and respond.

quote:

yet your “source” has insight into suh’s mind?

Never once claimed he had "insight into Suh's mind." And this is something you've brought up before as a weak attempt at a "gotcha." It's obvious to anyone who follows football, with or without an inside source, that Suh took a one year deal with the Rams in hopes of having a dominant season and cashing in on that season this free agency. That didn't happen for him, and he still sees himself as one of the best DTs in the leage (my speculation there) and wants guaranteed money. There is some speculation involved. You see, when you're intelligent, you can speculate and feel kind of confident in that speculation. You don't have this ability.

quote:

Just want to make sure I’m reading this right?

You're reading nothing. You're just trolling and doing so to such an extent that everyone here is sick of you.

quote:

Also suh has been humbled yet he claims to only want a big contract?

I just can't help you out anymore. Keep doing what you need to do to wreck this board.

This sadly happened. 100% no bullshite on my end. Some poor person actually believed we were selling to Cuban.

I think one of the Saints beat writers are one of the local online Saints sites "broke" that story yesterday. And of course a poster here bought into it as well.

I can believe this. I had one friend yesterday flip out because PTI was reporting Zion Williamson was staying at Duke another year to avoid the Knicks.

So you didn’t answer my question. You said the saints have had no contact with suh yet your buddy knows he wants a big contract and prefers to be on the west coast.

Would like some clarification on it. I mean if you have a source this shouldn’t be hard to answer.

Also I agree with an earlier poster that the stupidity of you putting that somebody randomly said the saints were sold to Cuban (which nobody in this world is that dumb) was just a dead give away this was a lie

You’d be surprised with how stupid people can be. Your constant posts and sky-screaming are evident of that.

Sad.

I mean honestly...

Gms can talk to each other...? Or you know. Our sources around the league hear that.

We all knew Lebron wanted LA and I'm sure some teams never contacted him

Met my buddy for lunch today. Seafood in Louisiana is always a good time to talk Saints. Had a person at the table next to us talking about how the Saints were sold to Mark Cuban yesterday. Poor guy was dead serious until someone called him an April Fool. Oh well.

The Saints are still very much in play for Ziggy, but that shoulder injury is a big concern and they are more than patient to let things play out and if Buffalo ponies up more to get him to commit. The time for Ziggy to have signed was earlier, as now most teams have all but wrapped up their main spending in free agency and are focused on the draft. Ziggy wanted big money for a year now loses its appeal when a team can draft a young DE without the injury concerns. Personally, I just don't see it and I see Ziggy as a bit of an expensive luxury with a huge injury concern.

My buddy said there has been no word that he's aware of on Suh. Suh has limited the teams interested in him because he wants big money (albeit being average last year) and he also wants to stay on the West Coast. So the Raiders, 49ers, or Seahawks are all his preferred team, and it would take a different team to spend more money to get him, and to be honest, not many teams will do that for Suh.

My buddy told me that this process has really humbled a few guys, like Ziggy and Suh. And even Cook to an extent. They thought they'd all be signing huge deals with large guaranteed money, but their markets never materialized.

He did say the Saints would try to be active in the draft this year, despite having lack of draft picks in the first 3 rounds. Look for picks 40 - 46 to be very intriguing to them if a player they covet falls. As far as what they covet, that's really anyone's guess. The Saints will focus on small school standouts flying under the radar, or college veteran players that have displayed durability and leadership. Those two things are some of the most important traits to a winning organization.

Also, don't be shocked if the receiver position isn't addressed in the draft either. It sounds like the Saints are content to role with a healthy Meredith and Trequan Smith after a full offseason with the team.

All I have for now. Sorry it's not much, but with the draft three weeks away, the main focus is on that.

Also, a special thank you to those who keep things civil and fun around here. I know I can be a hot head during game days, but it comes from a place of passion and a love for this team, and I do enjoy talking it with most of you.

Pretty impressive fan fiction, maybe don’t be so general next time. Anyone could write this

Thanks for the updates from your buddy. Could you ask about Dez Bryant? Are they bringing him back or what? A healthy Dez could be the missing piece of what could potentially be one of the most talented Saints offenses ever.

It doesn't take inside sources to know this. I read weeks ago that Suh wants to stay on the west coast if possible. And he took a one year deal last year hoping to get a huge long contract this year. He wanted the same thing last year but no one wanted to give it to him so he took a one year prove it deal with a contender hoping to cash out this year. All of this is widely known and was reported weeks ago and not actually breaking news so not sure why you on this mans arse??

Same thing with Ansah, mans been hurt 3 of the last what 4 years but he got paid 17 million last year but got hurt again. I'm sure he thought he wouldn't get that much again but something over 10 million. I can almost assure you it humbled him not getting offers for half of what he played for last year....

A healthy Dez is the problem. An Achilles injury for a receiver who is 30 years old might sideline him for good.

I think Payton likes Dez a lot, and probably feels awful what transpired when he briefly became a Saint.

My guess, is Dez might get a chance to come in and workout when fully healthy. I think the Saints are going to hope Meredith comes back 100% and Trequan Smith can build on a decent rookie year.

MT13
TG
CM
TQS
even Kirkwood/Cobbs/Dural/Carr

then
Cook and AK

I don't think we have many holes in our WR depth chart to fill barring injury.
