I don't think we'd be settling for Parcells.

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one

Let Carmichael focus on the offense.
You agree with me.

Again, what does this shite have to do with anything? What exactly do you think he's gonna be asked to do? This will be the easiest NFL gig he's ever had. You made some dumbass comment and you won't stop elaborating on it.

As for Dallas, they improved because they got a top 10 QB.

more like a bottom 32 QB. I cant believe someone actually thinks that highly of romo. what has he done that would ever qualify him as a top 10, besides date a dumbass, play in a forced-large market and have his name repeated over and over because he can't win in December?

Yes you did. You said it's a horrible idea because he's left his last couple of teams in disarray (i'm paraphrasing your point). Again, what the frick do you think we're asking him to do? How the frick is he gonna have a long term impact with a one year gig?

Romo's worth is inflated only because he's Dallas' QB. I never thought he was all that great, although he does put up some numbers. He's just not consistently great. I'd say he's top 15-18. But I guess that means he's average?

I'm not sure what's worse: Gator fans trying to convince you that Tebow will be an elite QB eventually, or Cowboy fans defending Romo over and over and over again.

Yeah, I can honestly say out of these names (not in this order) I would rather have them than romo

Aaron Rodgers
Tom Brady
Drew brees
Ben Roethlisberger
Joe Flacco
Cam Newton
Eli Manning
Peyton Manning
Tim Tebow
Matthew Stafford

Yes, even Tebow and Stafford.

Doesn't have to be a long term impact.

I'd rather not have him around during the next season when it could be a 1 year impact when we only have a window of a few years left with Brees.

Cowboys were fine and we are in better poistion than they were in when he was coach.

BP to Saints is like Belichick sitting out a year and letting Gruden step in for just one year.

Win/Win we keep SP and let a coach who has been to 3 superbowls coach us for one season

They did not improve by much

they were 1-15 the year before. They jumped to 11 wins. Even the 7-9 seasons that followed is a huge improvement from a team that won 1 game.

You build a franchise for the future, he left them with shite, a shitty 4 win team. Great job Parcells, that's what we're hanging our hat on?

At least get your facts straight. They won 6 games last year.

They never found their franchise QB. Still winning 25 games over the 3 years coming off a 1 win season is impressive to me. Yes, I am hanging my hat on that.

The Saints wouldnt hire him to oversee the team that way anyway. So it's really moot. The last time we saw him on the sideline he was pretty successful in turning the Cowboys around.

The Cowboys made a huge jump both in talent and in wins when they hired him. Its undeniable

Well, there you have it.

Expert analysis.

It seems to manage to amaze more and more every day that people can't actually have a rational discussion with another person around here without acting like a 12 year old.

It's like the moment anyone is disagreed with, they shut down and just become outraged and it's so egregious they have to start calling names and stuff. Pretty funn, really.

I just shake my head every time in disbelief.
