I’m read to just bite the bullet and have 3-4 years of terrible teams. Get higher picks and get these terrible contracts off the books and reset. Stop trying to do the middle ground of restructuring every off season only to end up in the same cap hell we already are.

You know how many times people have come on to this forum and said, "A former player said" and its completely false in just a few weeks? Most former players don't have the access most of us think they have. Unless that former player is on the coaching staff, or ownership, I take it like any rumor from someone on a forum.

7 wins is the needed bar to avoid giving Philly a ludicrous top pick tiered pick. 8-9 would be much mo better. Still, the wins is only hurting our 2nd round pick height. Our first is already a sunken cost.

Come on man! You really think Dalton is equally as competent as a prime Drew Brees??? Please stay out of the spray paint aisle at Walmart

i never said that, i said with this current team, bad play calling, stupid coaching, dumb game plans, and all the players missing, in this case, yes drew brees couldnt do a better job than dalton is.

even drew brees cant complete passes when he is on his arse on the ground with no time to throw it.

no one can read defenses like brees, but even brees cant turn shite into a ribeye steak

Chargers give up at best a mid 1st round pick

Gonna have to give up more than that. Would really prefer an established player along with the picks.

not if you dont cherry pick it completely out of context like most of you are doing.

what i said was

quote:

dalton is doing great, its not his fault if the rest of the team sucks, the game plans suck, the play calling sucks, and the coaching sucks.
drew brees, in his hay day, couldnt do any better of a job than dalton is doing, and with less injuries and just half decent coaching, we could have been in the playoffs this year, all because of dalton

It’s not your call. We’ll take what we can get and like it.

Saints hold all the leverage. I’ll take Bosa, Slater, Jackson, 2023 1st, 2024 2nd.

This adds more fuel to the fire that Loomis needs to go. Every year we see teams that are supposed playoff locks stumble. The Rams won a Super Bowl and now would be picking top 6 (if they didn’t trade to Lions). Such an awful gamble.

This season, and possibly next if Winston turned out to be “the guy”, were the only shots the Saints had to make a final run before a rebuild no matter what.

Turns out Winston isn’t the guy so the rebuild starts one year sooner. It is what it is and I don’t have a problem with them going all in while they believed they could.

DA isn't getting fired because players play hard for him. I expect few more wins. I hope on Jun 1st. We see some high price Vets cut that doesn't see the field.
