That run after the catch ability

So did Jared Cook. He coughed it up in the biggest game of the year in one of Brees Final Seasons.
I mean, causation without evidence isnt always fool proof logic.
Take my Ex for instance. When we got together she was tiny and thin. Almost beautiful.
Then 5 years later, genetics, weight and a bit of an attitude caught up with her.

I, too, am still processing what might have been had he not fumbled it away. We are here for you.

I still don't understand why he wasn't targeted more. But glad he fell to the Saints

I mean… watching him rough up the rambling wreck is not really that impressive.
I hope he’s a great nfl player. Let’s see what he does there.

Let's all pray that doesn't happen to Oscar Delp

He's going to be a great target in the red zone.

I think he’s gonna be used a lot to move linebackers… with him sprinting out to the flat with Olave/Tyson working over the middle

You act like GT was dog shite last year. They finished tied for 2nd in a P5 conference.

The way his body moves after the catch is a little Brock bowers like. They both have this weird forward lean.
Delp has plenty enough speed.

My thoughts exactly. I can see this guy ripping down the seam and taking some LBs with him.

Meh. It’s still tech. Color me unimpressed.
Besides, I just said I hope he’s great in the nfl. What more do you want?

If he can plus blocker and be a 400-500 yard receiving TE I'll be VERY happy.
If he becomes elite, then damn I'd be ecstatic. We've seen what elite TEs can do for QBs.

Hes going to be rookie of the year

I think that's why they brought him in. Our TE room has sucked for years. No depth so the Saints couldn't go to 12 or 13 personnel like other teams.
And run the ball at a nickel or dime defense.
That Rams game last year was brutal because they did whatever they wanted on offense and it mainly had to with them using 2 or 3 TE's and running the ball. And then when they did throw it succeeded because if you can run on a team then your whole playbook is available at any time
Also, that was Shough's first start and the Saints were not a fast-starting team so that showed up the most against the Rams and Seahawks. Go figure.

Then add on top of that, you’ll have Lance running a deep post taking the top off the D
