I say it's Zach Wilson.

Wilson is better. He goes through his reads and moves his feet in the pocket. Rattler stares down his first target and if he's not there, he immediately checks down or scrambles. He's athletic but he not a good QB.

If we're playing fantasy football maybe Wilson
If we're trying to move chains then Rattler

We’re screwed way. So, I’d Wilson. Give him more time to learn and develop. Ratt has had more than two years and still sucks.

Wilson. Ratt looks like a deer stuck in headlights when he’s out there . 1-13 as a starter. Wilson isn’t great but he’s a lot better then Ratt

Go get Jameis Winston.

I’m dead serious.

I’d much rather have Jameis than either one of these dudes.

Go give up a 6 and get him.

Release the dead weight experiments.

That ship has sailed. He was given the chance to replace Brees. Younger players are here to stay.

JW is a big personality that I don't think is needed in our qb room. A vet is possible as we will see soon among other positions.

I hope that we never have to play any of the backups, but I would say that Wilson is better. Rattler is one read then check down.

More time to develop? the guy was the second overall pick and has been in the league since 2021. He's had time to develop. That said, I'd still choose him over rattler as the backup.

All I know is I would keep just one and try to find a capable vet. I think Ratt knows the offense better but baby face has a much better arm.

It's the right kind of big personality. Jameis might be the best teammate in the NFL.

Yes, Jameis absolutely is great for a room full of young guys

Wilson is definitely the better back up. But I feel like Moore may be loyal to Rattler and keep him instead.

Not sure what you watched during rattlers 1-13 starts but not many chains were moved.

I'd go with Zach Wilson.

I'd assume there was a reason he went high in the 1st, and some guys need more time to develop and/or go to a bad situation. Wilson went to the Jets #2 in 2021. For comparison, Sam Darnold went #3 in 2018, and everyone thought he, like Wilson, was a bust.

Darnold had a great year in Minnesota, who chose not to believe it was for real and let him go in favor of JJ McCarthy. Darnold then won a Super Bowl in Seattle the following year.

Going to the Jets, Browns, etc, and being tossed into the fire early, doesn't mean someone's terrible. It means they're in an awful place.

More time to develop in a system not named the Jets. Let him learn our system/offense and see how it goes.
We have seen enough of Ratt. We know what we have with him.

yesterday was probably the best I've ever seen Rattler play in terms of pocket movement and reading his progressions and yet Wilson still looked better.

Please watch the game again

All but 1 of his completions were short right or short left. If the first read isn't there, he checks down or runs

Yep. He refuses to push the ball downfield and cannot throw receivers open.
Puts zero pressure on the defense
