Or people in southwest Louisiana are actually Houston Texans fans

People south of I-10 act like Adam Sandler in Waterboy..

I'm sure blanket statements like that would not sit well..

My family lives in Shreveport and my brother is a Broncos fan. So you can be whatever you want.

Currently I'd put it at 50% Saints, 40% Cowboys, 8% Steelers, and 2% for the field. That's just Shreveport though, can't speak for Monroe or Alexandria.

Monroe is pretty much 70% Saints then maybe 20% Cowboys and 10% other.

I work with two guys that came down from Shreveport about 5 years ago. One is a Saints fan, the other is a cowboys fan.

I don’t think location determines fandom. Tiger and saints fan posting from Florida.

I would say 70 Saints and 30 Cowgirls in North Louisiana due to the jails here are mostly full of south Louisiana folk!

This crap is getting old. I grew up in Union Parish right above Ruston & born in 1973. Monroe TV ALWAYS showed the Saints over the Cowboys. I knew very few Cowboys fans growing up there. North Louisiana is WAY MAJORITY Saints fans with the exception of the Shreveport area which is probably 50/50 Saints/Cowboys. Yes, Shreveport sucks but there is more to North Louisiana than Shreveport. The rest of North Louisiana is solid Saints country. I lived in New Orleans for over a decade after college & the complete & utter ignorance that people from South Louisiana have about anything North Louisiana stunned me in my time there.

^ This shite right here.
When I lived in Baton Rouge, it amazed me that everyone thought Shreveport was North Louisiana. It’s literally minutes from Texas. NW La & NE La are completely different. Most folks I know from South La hunt in NE La, and enjoy their time here. Yes they sell booze on Sunday in NE La, they have electricity and WiFi in NE La. Hell Monroe/West Monroe has Uber, all the chain stores and restaurants, and even a damn Walk On’s. I don’t know 4 people who are Cowboys fans just about everyone in NE La are diehard Saints fans.

Most Saints fans were no where to be seen until Brees came on the scene, remember the aints.

The fair weather fans were on the Cowboys bandwagon until the Saints started winning then they switched affiliations.

Once Brees retires and Sean Payton goes to the Cowboys the 30 years of sucking will return and 3/4's of the state will return to the Cowboys .

I was watching the Saints and hating the Cowboys when we drafted Archie Manning.

North of I-20, Saints fan here.
There are a lot of Cowgirl fans, but I feel like it’s probably 65/35, Saints, in my area.

This is pretty recent. Well into the 90s there was either Billy Jack's in E Carroll(legal) or various black bars in the woods where you could pull around back and honk(not so legal).
