Bad idea, core saints fans and core LSU fans are totally different.

Enlighten us then while choosing a venue that won't be a downgrade from MetLife.

No.

Let them play at Tulane stadium.

LSU was incredibly gracious to let the Saints play an entire season in Tiger Stadium.

While Tom Benson and the Saints organization were threatening to move the franchise to Birmingham or San Antonio LOL

What a joke

And Saints fans continue to live in their own tiny bubble thinking the Saints are everything.

Most people in Baton Rouge don’t give one frick about the Saints.

You could probably get 60k fans in BR, but only if the Saints are playing well.

No one’s going to sit in the noon September sun to watch a loser.

The super dome’s AC is so clutch

Listening to Dan Patrick and the idea of all NFL teams playing 1 game per year in a college stadium was floated

I don’t like the idea, but I’d rather that than forcing teams to give up a home game to go play in London.

And LSU will make more just off consessions since the stadium won’t be empty at half time

I’m a big LSU fan, and this seems like a pretty terrible idea.

Would hate to be the field crew for the college stadium

While having NFL teams play at college stadiums would not be a good idea, why would it be so detrimental to the field crews? College schedules come out years in advance (LSU's schedule is basically known through 2025), so the NFL can work around them to make sure they don't have an NFL game the day after a college game.

And, if they are that worried about it, they can simply have the NFL games at college stadiums in December, when teams are in bowl season and most stadiums go unused.

100k tickets sold
Saints get 75%, LSU gets 25% of sales $

You really think ticket sales is only revenue at a game seriously?

Concessions, merchandise, not to mention everything sold in champions square, Vendor rental spots around the dome, Parking, advertising....and on and on and on. Doesn't make sense for an NFL team to do this unless NFL mandates it which they won't. NFL sees College as their D-league they aren't going to throw them a bone because a few people in the state think it would be cool. They are trying to market their product globally right now not regionally

We did that. It was one of the more depressing sporting events I've ever attended. Only fun was I was able to walk right up behind the bears bench while we were getting smashed. I started yelling "Run it up the middle they are soft in the middle!" with Brian Urlacher standing about 20 feet away. He chuckled.
