He would do just fine at the combine.

It’s not a big deal. He’s choosing a pro day. He’ll have an advantage that way to try and prove to everyone he can be a top 10 pick.

I’m all about taking a risk in a bad QB class. Let’s get young. Draft some olineman. Let CKM build his Eagles team in Nola.

Not many people were real high on Hurts either. Moore just needs an athlete with a decent arm.

I’m older. So I just don’t really care about the future like I used to. Just entertain me with this new regime. Moore comes off as a risk taker who knows what he’s doing.

You can go watch his play in his games.

Youtube Link - Cincinnati

Youtube Link - BYU/Bowl Game

That's ~34 minutes for 3 games - Baylor, Cincinnati, and BYU and I'm sure there are others on youtube. That's the 4th game of the season, the 8th game of the season, and the bowl game.

I'm not a scout but I'm not impressed by this game film. I don't think he'd be the best pick at #9 overall.

I actually think hes pretty damn good. But pretty good isn't great. Is he the next Mahomes, Josh allen, Burrow, Jayden? I haven't watched him that much but the little I have seen I wouldn't say hes worth a 9th. Especially when you can potentially get dart, milroe, howard, and the syracuse bum later on.

I wish more of you assholes would jump on the Milroe wagon. Could potentially trade back or get him at 40. High upside pick and could develop behind Carr. Let Kellen work with him turn him into Hurts/Lamar 2.0. What percentage of 1st round picks flop? 45%? You might as well take a chance on someone with high upside. Remember what he did to lsu two years in a row? He absolutely embarrassed us. Ive watched some great players in that stadium and he was as good as any of them.

If the mocks start dialing in on Saints taking a qb, it won’t surprise me if we move up to get our target (Ward or Sanders).

Because if enough of us start to like him that means the Saints will draft him???

I hadn't paid much attention to the senior bowl stuff, but I recall the initial reports around Milroe were embarrassingly bad, did he improve as the practices and games went on?

The knock is the overconfidence, but I like a confident QB.

This is an interesting one. On one hand, being confident at the QB position is a must. But some of the stuff that is coming out sounds to me that he (and his dad) is intentionally trying to control the draft. Give bad and borderline horrible interviews to teams you don't want to play with, be your normal self or put on a front for teams you want to draft you.

Then again, could the information coming out be gamesmanship from the various front offices to scare other teams away and hope he falls to them

To be fair that is a good comp and the titans owner basically said the same.

Completely agree on Milroe.

Guy was hitting 22 mph often, and night have hit 23 on a run. Thats Tyreke Hill game speed.

If KM wanted Milroe Im for it.

I also think its possible that a lot of teams like Milroe/Dart wayyy more than theyre saying and that we could have surprise first rounders this year again.

Many had Nix as a second rounder etc, no one had Pennix at 8.

I watched it. He didn’t look comfortable in the offense at all. Stupid to judge a player off of the senior bowl. Kellen Moore’s philosophy has always been to cater the offense to the strength of the players. We are built to run the ball and throw the ball deep. Even Carr sucks at intermediate throws. He either dumps it off to AK or tries over the top. Milroe struggles with short-intermediate. But elite at everything else. Throws amazing deep balls, accuracy, touch, zip to the sidelines. Read option with Milroe and AK is dirty

I would be down for it. Def. Agreed. Also it seems like the Saints players already like Shedeur, Cam/JJ recruiting etc.

Critical to the Moore offense is ability to run RPO for sure.

All these guys can do it.

Milroe/Dart also threw well at the combine.

Knock on Dart is OlePiss’ one read offense. But to be honest if any Coach is running a system that would correlate its KM and what he did with Hurts.

I’m not interested in any off the field shite Deion and that group would bring (if any at all), but I actually think Shadeur might be a good QB in the NFL.. he can move well, has a decent enough arm, and has probably had the best coaching available to him his entire so he’s gonna be more polished than a bunch of draft able QBs

I’m not 1000% sold on him by any means, but he definitely has the potential to be good in the NFL.

Yea at the end of the day if we end up drafting a qb it just needs to be the guy KM wants. I personally hope we avoid the Shedeur trap at 9. Hold out for Milroe, Dart, Howard. And surprisingly enough the bama guy is the least douchey QB out of the bunch.
