I don’t remember the timing of how things went down, but to be fair jimmy graham also put up a legal fight about how he would be paid with the wr vs tight end thing. That could have changed the way the team felt about him

To be fair, there is a huge difference between a coach denying a rumor when asked, and a coach voluntarily shooting down a rumor online
