Listen towards the end of this video regarding injuries. The comment about being at the bottom is telling and an unintentional jab at the Saints.

I’m not so sure it’s unintentional, but he is accurate about the Saints and Oschner. Truth hurts, but Gayle’s head is in the sand she’s an ostrich type owner.

Seems pretty telling. He knew how shitty the organization is and that’s why he left. He bolstered everything here and without him we’re left with a bunch of frauds.

Gayle has no idea what it takes to be great other than giving a mean BJ. We don’t have anyone here who can drag us out, it’s depressing as fans, we can all see how shitty every single thing is Mickey, our shitty drafting, everything.. We fans can all see how we are about to enter another dark age of saints football with literally zero hope, but the only people who can do anything about it think everything is fine and are contempt with being bottom of the league in everything.

frick.

I think he was talking about Denver being at the bottom under Hackett before he arrived.

Where are sean Payton and his Denver broncos right now? The same place as the saints, at home. But the saints have better draft position

No

He was part of the problem

That’s why he quit

How different would the Saints be if he stayed?
(Be honest with yourself)

He recommended Dennis Allen

And Micky Loomis did what he said

Payton took a team hamstrung by the Russell Wilson contract to the playoffs largely by developing a rookie QB that most people thought would never be a NFL caliber starter. Cementing himself as an obvious Hall of Fame caliber head coach. This has to be killing you.

Yeah and we’re a bunch of dumbasses for listening to a future competitor recommendation.

Arnsparger did the same thing with Archer and Saban recommended Houston fricking Nutt!

Big grain of salt on that approach!

He specifically names two people on his sports med and S&C staff who were in those same roles with him in New Orleans.

This is a dumb take.

Denver looks to have a very QB going forward and the right coach.

Saints have none of that.

LMFAO

Barry Switzer is too right? I mean he won one Superbowl in 4 years, Payton one Superbowl in 16 years.

Get Payton's dick out of your mouth or arse, put the crack pipe down and be objective

He also traded up for Davenport and drafted Payton Turner before he left

Yea what he said is not wrong but I think it's a giant stretch to say CSP was taking jabs at the Saints.

I'd bet the Saints are rarely on his mind these days.

It's amazing in 16 years he couldn't find a QB as good as bo nix in the draft while in new Orleans.

But he did give up 2 first for Davenport .

This is painfully stupid. The Saints and Broncos couldn’t be trending in more opposite directions. Only a moron or someone blinded by hatred of Payton would disagree. With you I’m guessing it’s a little of both.

This is even stupider than your other take. Switzer took over a Super Bowl team with the most talented roster in the league. Payton took over a disaster of a roster and a team and city reeling from Katrina. See if you can make a more idiotic post than this. Seriously, try. I want to see if you can do it.

Holy frick, man.. you really think Denver and the Saints are equal? What an awful take.

They are in one of the toughest divisions in football that had 3 teams make the playoffs and they were one of them. Our division is the worst and we didn’t do shite. They have a young QB and young defense that was one of the best in the league. They have a lot of other things going for them that Sean alluded to in the OP.

They are wayyyyy better off than us and I shouldn’t have to explain that one to you or anyone.

So Payton took over the team in 2006 season and won the Superbowl in the 09 season technically 10 when he won. What happened the next 10 years for him to be hof? Getting bounced in the playoffs?

And to be technical, Switzer didn't take over a Superbowl roster, the 49ers were the champs in 95, even Jimmy Johnson who won with those cowboys in 94 couldn't repeat in 95
