Bc if an extension isn't viable, you move him this season to maximize value since he has another season.

Mickey overpaying him not in your range of outcomes?

Sure it could happen, but I doubt it.

In a vacuum that doesn’t look bad. I just think that you can get those numbers much cheaper on a guy you hyper target in a non explosive offense. Add in at least 4 concussions and the negatives just outweigh the positives(at least to me), I’d rather take what we can get and reset the clock on maybe multiple cost controlled options.
ETA: cheaper than a second contract/extension not the rookie deal.

In reality they are likely talking 23-29
There are comps in every contract negotiation, I just don’t see how they arrive in the mid to high 20s given his production and concussion concerns
There’s motivation for both sides here to get soemthing done

Loomis is going to pay him ja'marr type money.

draft the best receiver in the draft (probably Jordyn Tyson)
If Bain is gone, this is the WR we need. He's easily the best on the board.

I like Chris Bell out of Louisville

I've watched a lot of ASU this year and Tyson is good, not great.

Doubt he or his agent would view him as lesser than Jameson Williams. He's had worse production and isn't the injury concern but is a frick up. He got 3/83 with 67 guaranteed.

Jameson was a frick up early on, but 2 key advantages he has over Olave are health and explosiveness. Olave moves chains. Jameson can and will house the ball from anywhere on the field and can be used in trick plays. He's a far more effective and valuable winning player than Olave.

Olave needs to go, unless we can keep for cheap. He reminds me of one of those old fire commercials when he catches the ball.. all he does is stop, drop, and roll.

He was suspended last year. They've played the same number of games because of Williams being injured or suspended.

He's a different player but he's on a better team, with better players, that can use him better.
