Suspended players don't count against the active roster spots. He wouldn't take up any roster to add

Darren Sharper should be in the HOF if voters were suppose to follow the voting criteria

Our cbs are terrible so what do we have to lose ?

Loomis had every chance to take a cb early in the draft and didn’t

We’re in year 2 of a real rebuild. You don’t draft based on need.

Here is what he wrote

quote:

Dear Judge Sabella, "My name is Nick Saban, and I have spent decades as a football coach working with young men from diverse and often difficult backgrounds. In that time, I have had the privilege of watching hundreds of athletes grow not just as a players, but as men. I write this letter because of the exceptional character I witnessed in Terrion Arnold over the more than six years I have known him. "I first met Terrion when he joined my program in 2021. From the beginning, he stood out -- not only because of his athletic ability, but because of who he was off the field. Based on my experience with Terrion, I've always believed he leads with genuine care for the people around him. "Over the years, I have welcomed Terrion into my home and around my family. He has consistently treated my family and my staff with respect, humility and kindness. In all the time I have known him, he never once gave me cause to question his conduct, his integrity, or his respect for others. I don't ever recall him being involved in any behavior that would be described as aggressive or irresponsible. "Based on my experiences with Terrion, I remain committed to supporting him. While I'm not overly familiar with or educated on the charges he is facing, and understand the seriousness of his situation before the court, I would respectfully ask the Court to take into account my experience with Terrion, his character, history and the positive impact he had on our program."

We're that bad at corner. Yikes

The two starters are good but yiadom has been getting beat in every practice footage i see.

I know arnold is visiting the Seahawks before the saints. This will be a min signing imo.

Per the AP, Chief Circuit Court Judge Christopher Sabella granted bond to Arnold and stated that prosecutors are “not there yet” in having a strong case

He went to Alabama. He has been working out all summer in the heat while we have all been sitting in air condition. Case dismissed.

I’m assuming they are closely monitoring his legal situation and their due diligence indicates his charges may be dropped or significantly downgraded.

Up to what point?
If you knew Darren Sharper was Darren Sharper before we signed him would you still want the saints to sign him?

Fans like to pretend something other than wins and losses matter. It makes them feel good. But the reality is wins and losses are ALL that matters.

HCs and GMs who win big with some guys of bad moral character on the team get raises and accolades (do you think John Madden's Raider teams were a bunch of "good guys"?). HCs and GMs who lose with "great guys" get fired. If the Saints were considering signing this guy to be your kid's 3rd grade teacher or landlord it might be a different discussions. But as a fan...
