re: Saints uniforms in 09

My only request would be to get rid of the gold numbers on the black jerseys. They don't match the color of the helmet.

Look like pajamas. Good posts above, I agree they should scrap the flat gold they have now and go back to the bronze shade. Jerseys and pants look better with white in them like the 70's and 80's. The current gold on the jerseys DOES NOT match the color of the helmet ! The current black jerseys are pretty lame, and don't put the State of LA back on the jerseys, e.g. the 'California' Angels.

Yes to broad gold-white-gold stripes on the black pants...if we keep them at all. Yes to gold jerseys occasionally...with gold pants. yes to white pants...with stripes...with white jerseys...occasionally. Yes to old style BIG Fluer di Lis on the helmet instead of the wimpy little one on the helmets now. Yes to Louisiana emblem on the jersey...but perhaps on the sleeve or hip of pants.

Uniform combos...solid white, solid black(with stripes on the black pants), solid gold, white jersey/gold pants, black jersey/gold pants

white jersey, black pants with broad gold/white/gold stripe = winner.

Here's some designs I found by Garcia Studio Graphic Designs over at the Saints Report. They're planning on making an attempt to approach the Saints FO about new designs. They look awesome!

The white jersey w/ the old style stripes on the sleeves are great. Drop the stupid 'soccer' font numbers and bring back the pants with the 3 broad stripes. The collars on the jerseys need to be solid all the way around and not stop at the base like the first ones pictured. Change the helmet back to the old shade of gold years ago and we're set.
