re: (360) UFC undisputed League?

I can beat Rua on expert by knockout like 10% and decision 60% and lose the last 30% of the time.
I can knock chuck out or submit him about 80% of the time now.

Submissions are very possible, you just need to have stamina meters on and wait till the opponent is almost out of breath and then slap it on him(still only works mainly in rd 2&3, only submitted once in 1st round.)
Also, if you look at their ratings, Rua is not very good at offensive submissions. Rightly so, shogun uses his jujitsu to get in position to pound his opponents.(in pride, hed just stand up and stomp their faces away.)

The secret to chuck is counter fighting, keeping distance, and getting very good at timing your standups.

My beef with the game is when two people are playing each other, the game is nothing but two guys advancing and reversing position on the ground over and over and over until neither guy has any energy. In a round we'll only actually get off a few punches. Once me and my room mate learned how to play the game, the random knockouts are held to a minimum and every match goes to decision.

I just hope they unlock 5 rd matches for online play, either way, my life will be over next tuesday. Even if the game sucked, I'd still play the shite out of it because of how big a fan of mma i am.

I'd rather see ud be burned off a blitz than be burned while playing conservatively imo.

Yes, I much so agree.
We need someone like him(alot like the old deuce) to team up with reggie, it will be great for both of their games.

D.Sanders - is the best cb to ever play

I guess I worded this part wrong about not knowing a team that did it. I mean succesfully.

Denver has never been a decent D since baily has been there. They've been 25th in ydage and even worse on scoring or worse every year.
Redskins were good but man were they stacked on d.

there is no cb that I know of that can be ona island against a decent wr and hold his own. When teams bring up a safety, it is because they don't have to respect the pass game b/c the other team sucks at passing(see vikings, every team does it against them, not just ones with good cb's).

Thats more of a game to game tweak, I don't know of any teams that rely on their cb's to shut people down and then play tweener safeties ona consistant basis.

I can't think of another position that the same player can look like absolute crap or a lockdown corner from team to team.

I'm not saying you can have anyone play cb, but compared to other positions(save for maybe fb cause all they do is blow people up).

look at JD, when the safeties play properly, guy makes tons of plays, but on the flip, he also looks like a middle schooler witha crippled leg when he is isolated.

re: who should be the Saints first pick

hes definately worth a 1st rounder, not ours though.

Just wait until the "best cb in the league" plays with no pressure on the qb and probabably the worst safety in the world over the top.

They havent been bred to have amazing fricking genes. Might suck to be a reality but unfortunately it is.

I knew somethign was wrong when i heard an interview before the second season started(edit: maybe it was after deuce got injured now that i think of it?) where he said:

It's all about longevity in the nfl, being smart and not taking unecessary hits and getting out of bounds when you can.

I guess it has worked out really well for him, he is closing in on the consecutive starts record with this conservative approach.

I don't have anything against reggie, he just hasnt been very much to the team ona consistant basis. I'll be the first one to praise reggie if he ever breaks out of the bog.

you serious? theres 2 threads with the name greg williams in it like 9 threads down

lazy bastard, I think the death penalty would suffice.

honestly, he might have had a great year if he hadn't gotten injured.

I don't blame reggie himself for being a bust so far. Just his natural injury prone ness.

It definately did seem like a new reggie at the beginning of last year though.

thats suprising, when I went to espn after we fired gibbs to confirm, I couldn't even find the news until i went to the saints team section under the news tab(not even on the front page of the saints page).

ESPN straight doesnt give a frick
