Sources: The #Texans are trading starting CB Bradley Roby to the #Saints. The deal is being finalized now. He’s suspended Week 1, but should help immensely at a position of need.

Few teams worked the phones like the #Saints to find a CB, turning over every rock. With the season in view, New Orleans gets it done. Starting Week 2, they get some help.

He’s suspended week 1 so he should fit in perfectly with our defense.

Sounds like they don’t trust Adebo

I seriously doubt it. Adebo looks like he could be a steal. This seems like a solid add to a defense that looks to carry this team.

Well he’s a warm body with experience. Losing jackrabbit looks like the most significant loss outside of Brees this off-season. Adds some good depth and I think Adebo will hold his own once he gets some games under his belt.

24. Bradley Roby, Houston Texans

The Texans don’t have many players on their roster who they can rely on for steady play, but Roby is one of the few, assuming he doesn’t receive another six-game suspension in 2021. He ranks in the 80th percentile of qualifying cornerbacks in forced incompletion rate and the 70th percentile in coverage grade while in single coverage since entering the league in 2014. His 71.5 overall grade in 2020 was his highest single-season mark since back in 2017 with the Broncos.

There you have it. Bradley Roby is Houston’s best cornerback. He’s ranked 24th in the league—don’t question the grades. He is pretty good, which makes him much, much better at his job than most of the guys on the Texans’ current roster..

Agree. Anything above a 5th would be bad. Could have kept Jenkins for nothing and a cheaper contract.

Texans are going full blown tank mode. Smart to trade away assets. I'll take one Deshaun Watson please.

Hopefully this is for a 4th, since we will be getting a comp pick that high.
