Looks like it's a 5th and Kiko Alonso.

Sean Payton says the fifth-round pick going to San Francisco will be based on playing time. Kwon Alexander will compete with Alex Anzalone for snaps at WILL linebacker.

Let's GEAUX

Kind of shocked the niners would trade him in the NFC.

I guess that means no more Anzelone or (when he's back healthy) Kiko Alonso?

I think you probably have kwon and davis out there when two linebackers on the field. I also think it opens up more packages. They have been limited at linebacker.

1. I wonder what the conditions are?

2. If he's healthy, it's a steal. Kwon is only 26 years old

I don't know where Kwon stands now in his abilities, but I do know he was really good with the Bucs.

I guess the 49ers are kind of giving up on the season.

Makes me wonder if Baun isn't quite coming along, but I guess he an Kwon play different positions.

Was impressed Anzalone this weekend too.

Now get us 2 quality corners, a safety and a competent defensive coordinator and were in business!

We needed another body at LB.

Kwon, Demario, Anzalone is solid while Baun keeps coming.

I think it’s also a move for the future. Demario will be 32 in January and Anzalone likely isn’t in the long term plans.
