I'm not upset anymore now that they got this trade, it makes up for the Chargers jumping up in front of NO to take Okie LB Murray.

His contract this year is super manageable. And I think his cap hits and dead money accelerate to the 49ers since he was traded, meaning we could cut him easily if he doesn't agree to a restructure in the offseason.

Safety is the biggest need here. I like the LB move, we didn't give up much, but I'd still like to see a play made for a good S

I like the player but feel like our secondary is where we really need the help.

We have the #7 ranked defense in the NFL. I'd say that's more than competent lol.

I take it back. I like the move.

Elite player (when healthy) for Kiko and a conditional 5th?

Thats a swing worth taking.

I think it’s a good trade for both teams.

Kwon has been hurt and passed up by Fred Warner and Greenlaw in SF and he’s expensive. The saints give up a a non-contributor and a so so draft pick for the potential.

Either someone is hurt or Kiko isn’t recovering as fast because when healthy Kiko is a damn good LB. I have questions if Kwon’s knee is healthy too. There’s a lot to this trade that we don’t know about.

A very interesting trade for the #Saints. Should only owe Alexander $3M for the year and they will save about $900K by getting rid of Alonso, so just $2M. Alexander has only $2M in injury protection left so they can walk away next year with no cap issues

Looks like he will be due 12.5 million each of the next two years in base salary. I assume the 49ers have to pay the full 10 million in prorated bonuses. If he is healthy and turns out to be an asset, he is definitely a candidate for a restructure next year. If he sucks, I think we can cut him and have no cap implications.
