I really love this. I'd love it even more if we found a way to get a pick for Tom Savage (hoping he's out).

Crazy scene: #Jets players were on the bus when they stopped, told Teddy Bridgewater he’d been traded, he waved goodbye, then they drove off, source said. Bridgewater headed to the #Saints. Wild.

Teddy “The Bear” Bridgewater is the air apparent to Drew “The Goat” Brees

I like it.

Anxious to see what we have up. If anything at least we have a solid backup for 2018. I don’t really see this as a long term option. He won’t sign with us again unless Brees retires and if that happens he’ll have so much leverage we’ll get smoked.

Think this is a move to get him on a cap friendly deal for 3-4 years to free up money for our young guys to get their next deal. Genius move by the saints if he is healthy and stays healthy.

we're giving up multiple picks for a 1 yr backup qb when we have 2 decent ones on roster... i don't think so.

To add to my previous post:

To be clear, they were waiting to depart. Didn’t leave Teddy on the side of the road or something. Still .... what a scene.

They will extend him before he even hits FA next year. This was a really smart move

I don't want to be a dick for calling you out, but I don't want you to get embarrassed in an office setting if this ever comes up.

This is really going all in for this year. Brees goes down for the season we are still done but should he miss 3-4 games Teddy keeps us in the hunt (in theory).

Vegas set the over/under at .5 leg amputations with our medical staff.

But really, huge upgrade at backup QB.
