Oh sure…. Saints are a Great Team right now…

We don’t NEED any of our draft picks.

He’s a good player. Big body, possession WR. Older, but mature. By all accounts, was a great locker room guy for Denver. Is he at his ceiling? Maybe, maybe not — TBD.

I’ve read multiple writers say he only became available because of the recent performances of Pat Bryant and Troy Franklin.

"Kid". Checks notes. Will be 28 in December. Guess he lines up nicely with our 26 year old rookie QB.

This just seems short sighted. Why trade a 4th for an injured 28 year old WR when you’re not supposed to be good anyway? Cool if he can produce this season but what is that really going to amount to? If he were younger I’d get it but it just seems pointless.

I think I….like it. No doubt NFL trades are weird and great players have gone for less than a 4th and 7th. But still, Vele is simply unlike anything we have. He’s going to be able to run slants to convert those third and shorts. He’s going to be able to lead block, in place of our fleet of tiny speed WRs. He, Olave and Shaheed should give us a fairly solid wr trio now.

In short, this should help us run actual diverse offense to better see what we really have and don’t have.

Our top 3 WRs are all finesse/speed guys. We desperately needed some size at the position.

If he’s so old, why do you have to add a year to his actual age?

For a fist season in the NFL 475 yards isnt bad.
I dont see how you could complain on this one.

Because he’s done nothing in the nfl and he’s already reaching late prime age? By the time this team is on their feet again he will be 30.

Even if he works out well you’re giving him a big contract at a later age than preferred. Just a weird move.

This move was to send olave away. This is a smoke screen. Shaheed, cooks, tipton, and vele will be our wideouts. Olave will be in Minneapolis or jets soon.

He will be 28 during the season. His second season.

ST reguars thing Loomis to make all these decisions, then tells the coach about it afterwards.

Gonna be a high 4th. I’ll withhold judgement, but I think it’s bad value.
