#Saints GM Mickey Loomis informed other candidates this morning that, while there has been no final decision, he plans to continue discussions with Kellen Moore. Moore has been working on staff; he can’t be officially hired until after the Super Bowl and another meeting awaits.

Play hardball Moore. Ask for full roster and personnel decisions.

See follow up tweet GYNO

Moore is working on a staff. Sounds like its a done deal but "not one" because it can't be by league rules

If Loomis is telling others they're gonna keep talking to Moore then that better mean the deal is already done and he's not dragging people along. If he's putting that out there and they haven't secured Moore he's an even bigger moron than I thought.

Staley sure nose dived…for a minute he was everyone’s favorite young HC and now he’s basically been fired back to back seasons

You do realize the last time Staley was a dc, he fielded the best defense in the league…..

Yardage and points

Yes, and?

It's been shown that year was a clear outlier and he's never come close to replicating anything close to that since.

He seemed to be the next big thing and it was all a fraud.

Yeah 2 years under Fangio and one under McShay and he looked like the next big thing and it was all a house of cards.

Who knew apex Jalen Ramsey and Aaron Donald could do that?

IMO, that would make sense from Russini's report of his concerns with QB.

He should be making that demand, if there's a QB he likes he needs to be able to take him regardless of how anyone feels.

Sounds like it was a play to get more years on contract

What? He was a dc for one year only, and that one year they were the best in the league. There is no outlier lol

If he had multiple years as a dc you might have an argument. But the one year he was in charge of a defense, they were the best. So no, you dont have an argument.
