Remember when Kubiak and the Vikings were laughed at for taking him in the 3rd. The nepotism is strong in this organization

I already knew I can evaluate talent better than most gms. With Mond going in the 3rd fruckimg round, that just cemented my beliefs….

Yes, and Kubiak is the other Aggie brethren that he just gave a job that was completely undeserved.

I'll bite. Show your work good sir and I'm on board. Give us your draft picks over the last couple of years

They can use him on victory formation to take a knee.

Kellen Mond has never been a legitimate nfl qb prospect. People that watch SEC football have known this for 7 years.

I remember watching Mond in HS at IMG throwing to one-time LSU commit WR Jhamon Ausbon who I was actually watching the game for. Mond was frustratingly pitiful.

One-read & run. When he did throw, he was 50% accurate. Ausbon was open many times I had no clue why Mond was so highly rated. I can only assume it was the "potential" for development due to his arm strength. He did develop further into a draftable NFL backup's backup, but the suckiness lingers.

Saints Bonus Tidit: I later discovered Ceasar Ruiz played for that same IMG team and didn't know I had watched a future Saint.

it really is.

every team should have a capable backup QB with the way QB's get lost for the season, leave the game, or have to miss a few games because of injury.

as of today, the Saints would cooked if Carr gets hurt.

I guess then if things went totally off the rails, they'd have to fire Allen at that point but what a waste of time to get to that point.

Obviously they are bringing him in as a Taysom Hill replacement.

The only good thing is that if Kellen Mond and Wrong St. Brown see the field, then Dennis Allen should end up fired.

That’s a new one. The only issue I’ve really went in on is Carr’s play and extending his years here. We need to be realist when assessing the team

In my assessment we were one of the hottest teams in the NFL closing the season and could have been a potential problem if we make it in. Remember that?

If going 4-1 down the stretch vs Bryce Young, Danny Devito, Baker and Desmond Ridder gives you hope, so be it. I’ll assess the whole body of work vs a terrible schedule top to bottom. Good thing is, you have another season to prove something

Nit necessarily. If Carr goes down, we are picking top 10, maybe top 5. Let the new HC build from the ground up with our QB of the future. Carr' s a 1 year bridge in '25 ....
