@PFF: Junior Galette released, but his backup Hau'oli Kikaha was our top graded pass rushing edge defender in 2014 class. LINK

If Sean made the call I am good with it because he was a one dimensional player and also a troublemaker. But, his response was: "who else do they have?" That is a good question and I am interested in hearing the answer to it.

"Who else do they have? You tell me, who else do they have?" he said.

Galette said the Saints might learn from their mistake in releasing him.

"Who knows, maybe I'll get 40 sacks the next two years and we'll reunite," he said. "The business is the business, you know?"

Then he added, "Like Vito Corleone said, 'Watch for the traitors.'"

Either Galette himself or some Galette dick rider is downvoting every anti-Junior post in this thread.

If he's healthy A. Spencer is a really good player.

Congrats to the coach and organization for getting rid of this distraction. The Saints are getting back on track and doing things the right way.

Signing guys to massive deals and trading/cutting them a year later is not the right way. Significant portions of our cap in 2015 and 2016 will be spent on guys playing for other teams.

Oh yeah, I forgot Jordan got extended. This guy was a cancer I agree but I'm not sure if it was smart to release him. Not going to replace his production and we have to devour his cap hit. He must've been a real POS in the locker room. Couldn't that bad if he was team captain last year...off the field he's probably a different person.

He's going to be proven right.

As long as someone is not in jail and they can still play, some team will take a chance on them.

What will be stated by whatever team signs him is "Galette has assured us that his prior troubles are behind him and we believe in second chances blah blah blah."

Never fails. Jail is the only thing that keeps him away from the NFL at this point.
