Nice. TE is so down league wide he really has a chance to solidify himself as a top pass catcher at TE.

Love it. Johnson can be an upper echelon receiving threat at the position if we can figure out ways to get him the ball consistently.

Yeah IMO that takes us out the race for a Tight End at very least early in the draft. He was pretty solid last year and I think he can carve out a good role at tight end. This draft will be about the trenches and a power running back. The saints DL is flimsy at best rn. Extensions needed for big O, Davenport, Cam getting old, Turner always injured, they really need to hit on DL.
Don’t think we are that far off from being a contender in the NFC. In the AFC, we’d be nothing. But now with Carr, how many QBs you can DEFINITELY say are better than him? Hurts and who else? Maybe Kyler Murray who’s out for the year, Rodgers who is probably getting traded, Stafford who’s reportedly might get traded? Then its like Dak, Cousins, Goff, Geno, Jones, whoever the 49ers have, maybe Fields pops. But it’ll come down to coaching, do we have the right people?

Great news! Hope he continues to be solid. We need to get a RB in FA or the draft, but I’m starting to feel pretty good about the offensive personnel.

Just read it is 2 years for 12 mil with 8 guaranteed. Not bad if he continues to develop.

Hope the play designs allow him to do that too. can you imagine him getting open on a crossing route 1v1 with a Lber, with olave/shaheed taking the safeties?
