Probably right as this other clown won’t sign and will be traded away.

This isn't bowling. It's a team sport.
There is no individual in team.

I would think Shough playing hardball trying to reset 2nd round guarantees has Moore and Loomis feeling some buyers remorse on the pick. I think Rattler gets the job too.

He and close to 30 other 2nd round picks are unsigned and waiting to see what the picks in front of them get guaranteed. He hasn't missed any practice from this. I don't see why there would be any negative feelings from this situation.

It definitely is.

it’s pretty easy to see we have a VERY bad room on paper.

I would say unknown until we see what Shough can do. But it is certainly not an inspiring QB room

The Canton Bulldogs. In 1906, they were really hurting for a quality starter.
Here's their quarterback room:
1. "Greasy" Joe Bullock - would only throw underhanded passes, like he was lateralling forward. Had 46 interceptions on the year, with 5 completions. After the 1906 season, he would return to his job as fry cook at the Century Diner on the turnpike.
2. "Handsome" Bill McDaniel. He had a bit of an ego problem and was hated by his teammates. He had 42 completions - 37 to himself. He also
intercepted himself once, returning it for a safety. A bit of a ball-hog.
3. "Burly" Mike Stroika - quarterback with a defensive tackle's body. He had a nasty attitude with a short fuse. He once got a penalty for putting a
referee in a headlock. Would later work as a strike buster.

You must not be old enough to remember when the saints QB room had two dudes named Billy Joe in it?

Not sure about that.

Am I right that only Haener has ever won a game...and he's won 1?

That's why I said "on paper".

Which NFL team has a QB room that's worse than the Saints this year on paper?

[quote]I hope Spencer Rattler will be starting this season . We will see what happens after preseason.

No way in Hell he starts, nor does he deserve the start because he played for another coaching staff last year. the truth is the Saints should move on from Rattler and Hainer. bring in a Veteran to compete with shough. The Saints also have a young Hunter Dekkers whose college career was cut short because of a mistake. Ultimately the Saints should Start Shough and see if he is the Team's Future.

I'm not sure Haener has one. From what I have seen he only has 1 start and he lost that one. Rattler had 6 and lost them all. Haener's one start was a close game, but only because Rattler came in and nearly brought the team back. Between Rattler and Haener, the Saints' QB room has 7 regular-season NFL starts with no wins.

But saying it is the worst ever is hyperbole. Saying it may be the least experienced ever may be correct. Ultimately, I would say using "ever" in these cases is almost always hyperbole because none of us really would know if that is the case even if it were not subjective to a large degree.

Any examples that are clearly worse, just for comparison?

Is this the worst QB room in the current NFL?

No. No you don’t.

And that’s a shame because we’re all the one who suffer for it.

Probably.

Clearly worse or maybe worse? Because an example of either makes the statement hyperbole.

Arguably worse or at least as bad. There were more, but most had highly touted rookies who ended up crashing and burning to most people's surprise.

Seattle Seahawks (1993): Rick Mirer, Dan McGwire, Stan Gelbaugh

Arizona Cardinals (2012): John Skelton, Ryan Lindley, Kevin Kolb, Brian Hoyer

New York Giants (1997): Dave Brown, Danny Kanell, Mike Cherry

Kansas City Chiefs (2007): Brodie Croyle, Damon Huard, Tyler Thigpen

Detroit Lions (1988): Rusty Hilger, Chuck Long, Eric Hipple, John Witkowski

Cleveland Browns (2000): Tim Couch, Doug Pederson, Spergon Wynn

This is just too much speculation before we even have training camp much less preseason games. At this point nothing is settled.

What was the WB situation for the 0-16 Lions going into that year. I know they had a hobbled Culpepper still holding onto hope, and Orvolsky. Just can’t recall what the vibe was going into the season.

Danny Wuerfful, Billy Joe Hobert, Billy Joe Tolliver. I would take this room over that one

Let him and Shough compete. It’s not like anything matters until Loomis/Gayle is gone. These are all just minus years until the big reset happens.
