Lifelong Saints fan, but I've lived overseas most of my life and now live in Orlando. Never seen a game in the Dome and considering going YOLO and buying a flight/tickets to the game Sunday.

Round-trip flight about $80 and Terrace level tickets for $70ish. Should I pull the trigger?

ETA: college student budget, not OT Baller

Any last minute advice or someone to talk me out of it? TIA

100%. Find a room on AirBnB and use Lyft/Uber to get around

I’m sure we can help put together a travel guide for you

More than fair value for a terrace ticket for a playoff game. Pull the trigger.

Go to the local Asian market. Buy mama noodles and live off that for a month.

Go to the game

Obviously yes. Before booking an Airbnb maybe let us know the neighborhood your looking in. Being not familiar with the city there are definitely some areas you do NOT want to stay or walk by.

No question. Go.

Playoff games are a different level in the Dome. 2009 NFC Championship game is the best game experience I've ever had.

Sure, get a cheep hotel room and an Uber to "Allegro" hours before the game. You can get tanked up, hit on the MILFS, then walk to the game.........

What's not to like?

Take the Frontier flights that are cheap it’s a fine airline for 1.5 hours, and buy the cheapest tickets you can find. I saw some on SeatGeek for $80ish today. You should 100% do it.

Trip is booked! Really appreciate the kick in the arse to get me to go, y'all!

Tickets in Section 611 and staying on St. Charles Ave (between Canal and Poydras)!

I'm super stoked! Any must-see/must-eat/must-drink recommendations? I'm sure the city will be popping.

Obviously beignets at Cafe du Monde. You should also try Mr. B's for the BBQ shrimp

Gumbo at Stanley is the best deal in town outside of the beignets right next door at cafe du monde

Verde Mart- ask for an All That Jazz sandwich. It’s the best on the planet.

Keep it loud in the Dome!

I would pay that for a flight from Lafayette, might even pay that for a bus ride from Lafayette.
