Saints pick #18 in the draft

So we missed the playoffs AND we got the worst possible pick of all the teams who missed the playoffs. Sounds about right

The two OSU guys and Jameson will most likely be gone by that point. We need one of those three even if we have to trade up a few spots

Why do you say that? There’s a bunch of WRs and other good players in the draft this year. All we need is for one or two teams to take a QB and Burkes, Williams, Olave or Wilson should be there.

I know WR is the more sexy pick outlook but don't sleep on TE Jalen Wydermyer.

IF Thomas doesn’t have an ingrown toenail surgery that he puts off until the end of preseason, Payton’s going best player available. I’ve seen this crap too many times.

Now that we ended up not making the playoffs, those last 2 wins were costly as far as draft position. At 7-10 we'd be in the 8 to 11 range. Definitely could use the draft help.

17th isn't written in stone yet. It's going to be 17th or 18th depending on the outcome of Raiders & Chargers. With Raiders up, it's looking like the Saints will pick 18th.
