I think this is the deathblow for Dennis Allen. These oversees games and having to travel for TNF games usually take up to much team bandwidth for several weeks and it will likely mean an additional loss or two for the Saints IMO.

Are the Saints are getting saddled with all these oversee games because the league wants to move the Saints overseas or something.

It was bad enough that I lost a home game ticket last year. I hate all of it!

Good for you. Doesn’t mean that the football game will be any good (it’s usually not) and most season ticket holders don’t get to go overseas for the game (I know this is an away game this year).

London game was at 9 AM our time. Considering Germany is a hour ahead, that puts it at 8 AM if they keep the start time for their fans.

The Saints are the away team in this matchup so they would not be losing a home game in New Orleans as was the case last year.

The question remains....Does the NFL dictate which teams play ? Is it supposed to be a 'rotational' thing ? Do teams request these games ? Are participating teams somehow compensated ? Are season ticketholders of participating teams somehow 'favored' in securing tickets ?
WHY is the process cloaked in mystery ?????

The NFL is business entertainment and does whatever it fricking wants. There is no between the team fairness. It's an illusion. It's all about making money.

I read on the Reddit thread that patriots are a big team in Germany.

It honestly wouldn’t surprise me if the saints have a decent following in Europe due to being one of the first teams to play over there when the London series started and it was during the prime of Brees career. I honestly don’t know though.

Saints were well represented in London when I went in 17. I am going to try and make the Germany trip, this sounds really fun.
