How much cap space do we have now after this deal + the restructures?

They both seem miles apart in skill set.
Could the signing of MJ have zero to do with what happens to Vonn?

Bell isn't coming here.

Marcus Williams, Malcolm Jenkins, Bell, & CGJ is an overload . We have other areas of need.

**edit** to the people down-voting this...do you think we're going to have 3 Safeties, CGJ as slot CB, & 2 outside CB's on the field?

Do you think running a 4-1-6 is a good idea? If not, then 1 of these 6 guys will be a backup. That would be spending money on free agents to create an overload. Think about it.

It should make sense to people if they break the entire thing down.

If Harris meant Janoris is likely gone we could be very thin at 2nd cb very quickly.

That would really suck

Yeah if we don’t bring Jenkins back as the number 2, CB becomes a huge need.

Anzalone is good when healthy. Kiko is a nice insurance policy but we would be screwed if he played more than 10+ games. A good guy in a stop gap situation if Anzalone or god forbid Davis got hurt for a few weeks or a guy I’d be ok with towards the end of the season if someone got hurt later in the year but not a guy I want starting week in and week out.

We could use another guy and there aren’t a ton of options on the FA market anymore. Not many OL available either. Could be a situation where we could go after Emmanuel Sanders but I think he’s likely a Cowboy. Unfortunately, I think we will end up having one hole headed into the season unless we sign a WR. I don’t think we do and I think we go into the season banking on Anzalone staying healthy and hoping Kaden Elliss can provide something if something happens to Kiko or Anzalone

I don’t think that’s the case. I think they just a guy that can be an upgrade over Jenkins and tried to take advantage

He is still under contract for this year. He is due 11.5, so I am sure they would like to rework it, but why would he not still be here next season?

I think this signals (because both Jenkins and CGJ are versatile) that we will continue to be heavy 4-2-5.

Making Kiko a backup essentially along with Elliss

That does make sense. You're probably right. At least 1 of Anzalone/Kiko should be healthy.

Now I see why the FO doesn't see LB as a huge need...like I originally thought they would.

Difference is Olsen signed a 1 year deal and was one of the best players at his position over the past decade. He was good even last year when healthy and he’s had a garbage QB. And TE is a position that has a longer shelf life. Old guys do fine there. DBs don’t.

Jenkins signed a 4 year $32million deal. And was never really that good to begin with.

Hell of a deal. Averages around $8M a year. Eagles fans are pissed the FO couldn’t keep him at that price.

I imagine the Eagles balked at the 4 yrs Malcolm wanted

Jenkins has been considered one of the best and versatile secondary defenders the past 5 years. He’s a 3X Pro Bowler. The same as Olsen

Stop talking out of your arse
