This year is making up for all the Dome Patrol years where we lost the division with a great record because of the Montana/Rice led 49ers.

Does that really mean anything, especially in this division? I mean I get it, great we didn't lose today.
BUT we've dug ourselves a hole that I don't believe we can get out of. Tampa and Atlanta aren't just going to disappear after a couple of losses. We would honestly have to rattle off probably 6 wins or more out of our last 9? Impossible, no. But which squad shows up each game for the remainder of 2023?
I truly want to be optimistic but it is the Saints we're talking about here. I don't feel as though we could beat Detroit or Rams, especially with Rams away.
Good thing is we have a few home field advantages in the final 9 games, especially in the cold months. Grupe is having hard enough of a time indoors, much less having to kick in windy, cold conditions.

Eta Saints will be favored against Bears and Vikings would’ve been favored with Cousins and might still be. Saints could be in sole possession of first place come next week.
