Anyone else confused with these topics around the draft and upcoming season?
Last in draft power rankings.
Projected worst roster/ bottom 3 in NFL for upcoming season.
Is it just me or do I believe we’re a middle of the pack team with hopes make a run in our division depending on QB play.
Yes we’re old.
Yes the QB situation is a mystery.
But worst in draft rankings & bottom 3 roster don’t quite add up to me.
Maybe unknown coaching staff?
I’m not expecting playoffs or getting my hopes up but just a few head scratchers for me post draft. Curious what some fans are thanking

Win total o/u is currently set at 6.5 on FanDuel. ESPNbet had us at 5.5 in late March. Only the Browns (4.5) had a worse line.

It’s not hate. This is where we are and objective sports commentators see us for where we are.
It’s okay. This is part of the rebuilding process. This was inevitable and honestly should have started sooner. Hopefully two seasons of being in the bottom will allow us to build a solid foundation for sustained success.

Frankly no. I don’t even think it’s negative as opposed to simply being realistic about the roster. We’re old, not deep, and aren’t overly dynamic. That can change with a few more drafts as we overturn the roster but as it stands now our best players are past their prime or coming off big injuries, the qb situation has a low ceiling unless Shough really surprises, and the HC is just getting his feet wet.
There is nothing on this roster that says division champs or playoff team at this time.

Yes sir. When Payton left there needed to be an honest assessment of the roster and a 3 to 5 year vision for where we are headed. Nope hired DA and kicked the can down the road with terrible FA contracts and wishful draft picks.

It was. Loomis went older extending DeMario, Kamara, Carr, and Jordan. Adding Cooks only raises the age and we won’t get much help on the rookie QB as he’s 26.

We deserve the hate. We deserve the disrespect. Until this organization can prove that it can right the ship by hiring decent coaches, draft legit talent, make the right personnel moves, and win when it matters we deserve to be disrespected. It’s just that simple.

Saints might win 5 or 6 games and that’s a stretch. This team is just flat out not good compared to most NFL rosters

This is hilarious. Loomis does t believe we are rebuilding. You don’t sign 32 year old Brandon cooks if you think you are rebuilding. And draft a 26 year old with a premium pick.
