Yeah I may have forgotten Stoll as well...xD

I suspect he'll be back before the game though. He is in no danger of being claimed, and being mainly just a blocker he would have an easy time transitioning straight to the game with no practice.

This let's us hold someone else for as long as possible before cutting them and putting them on our ps.

In terms of TE's that puts us with Juwan (who can't block and is injury prone) and Matavao who is a 7th round rookie I didn't hear a single word about all offseason.

Kinda concerning. I imagine we are going to see some gameday moves back and forth at that position with guys like Welch

Which is exactly why I expect Stoll back. With no FB, no blocking TE, and young HBs behind Kamara, you really don't have any blocking help for an oline (admittedly without McCoy) that struggled mightily all preseason.

I suspect Welch will be mainly on the ps this season as he develops, but they could flip him and Matavao depending on the game plan each week.

Yeah. There are always those guys that get cut game day, other guy gets elevated to 53, on and on

I imagine that will happen a lot until Moreau or Hill are available

Yeah so a ton of shuffling the first 4 weeks at least.

Might cut Velus. That makes the most sense to me

Hell no. Velus is actually someone who can do things with the ball. I think moore will use him in a few different ways.

They’re going to the PS. Looks like Fadil Diggs is at practice today, another likely PS guy. Welch too. We also signed an Easton Kilty, who is on this list with Simpkins

I have heard that said that Moore is interested in him as basically a gadget player. Get him the ball in space and let him work.

Payton made a couple of good plays but then looked like Jason David on the backend.

Simpkins is going to be a nice find imo.

The fact that he can play 2 positions and is half way decent at both. As a backup that's the kind of guy you try and keep.

Yeah, they were never cutting velus Jones imo. He actually has juice.

Being that we now have 10, not likely. Probably thought he had a good shot to clear waivers and wasn't quite as good as Simpkins (plus Simpkins has C/G flexibility).

Also because we literally traded for a backup swing tackle that we must have liked better than him.

I think he only played 2 preseason games and only had 1 target in game 2. Game 3 he had 3 catches on 4 targets for 23 yards.

4 catches 5 targets and 29yds for the preseason. He's 6'8" and that's why he's on the roster and probably why we drafted him.

If he's 6'8" and can catch then you absolutely do not let that guy leave the roster.
