I would be shocked if Loomis actually makes it happen

If it’s a late round pick maybe. If we have to give up anything valuable frick no.

This would be fun, but it makes no sense

They would be disciplined financially and with assets until midway through season and then fk it all up. Fitting, so probably happens.

This is why so many millions of Americans have so much credit card debt.

We need another weapon in this offense. It actually makes Al out of sense. I do prefer the weapon being another rb though. Adding Kendre and Davante would definitely add something to the offense.

You have a top tier WR actually wanting to come here imo you have to try to get him at least

Never thought we would be on someone’s wish list again after Brees/Payton left

This team is at their ceiling a fringe playoff contender. Acquiring an aging WR won’t materially change that ceiling and it will perhaps hamstring efforts to draft young talent that can raise the ceiling in the future.

Way too much.

If injury report is correct he has a hamstring issue.

He’s in his 30s.

I’m not going to pretend to know his salary cap number but I’m sure it’s more than a second rounders will be.

It’s going to take some time to acclimate and worst case scenario is Carr just hyper targets him inefficiently or that hamstring lingers.

Just seems like way more things can not work out in reality since this isn’t just a plug and play like a madden video game.

Disgruntled o lineman sure. Disgruntled aging WR no shot.

2nd round is too steep for his cap figure imo

He’d have to sign a new deal and a 3rd at most

Ehh I’d like to get him but we need more help elsewhere and we need to keep our highest draft picks.

The hammy seems more like a disgruntled relationship than an actual injury. It came out of nowhere, and it all makes sense now.

Let’s face it. Our offense revolves around a ex QB whose physical play style has gotten him injured twice already this season. Our only RB that is worth a damn also has broken ribs. Olave is probably a #2 and Shaheed is a deep threat. Our TE room is non existent.

We need a true #1 and despite his age Adam’s is still one of the best WRs in the league.

Trading an unproven 2nd round pick for one of the best WRs in the world seems like a good idea with a caveat that they can rework that deal. Even at his age the chances of you getting a player that is the same caliber as Adam’s with a 2nd round pick is slim.

Raiders currently have $27.7M in cap space per OTC. Per my understanding, moving him saves ~$994k per game, trade him now it will be an additional $12.9M in cap savings for a total of $40.6M in cap space.

Saints have $2.7M in cap space this year . The Raiders would need to restructure his deal to convert his entire 2024 salary to a signing bonus, put him at league minimum for 2024; in addition, they would need to also reduce the 2025 base salary ($35.64M) and 2026 base salary ($36.64M) and eat the bonus money.
Restructure his deal, pay him $25M bonus, 2024 salary becomes league minimum, 2025 base drops to ~$20M, and 2026 remains the same.

Will cost more than a 2nd.

FYI, NYJ have $16.8M in space this year and $88.6M in space next year
