Another Saints - 49ers slugfest.
Knew the 49ers were better than they showed last week.

I hope the offense feels embarrassed because they are playing like absolute shite. They better come out the locker room fired up or it will be a long flight home.
Seriosuly, what the frick is up with the offense? How do we come out on all cylinders the first drive and then fizzle out? This is exactly like the Vikings game!

Champs will ALWAYS get every teams best, especially on Monday and Thursday night games. This game also has 1 of the all-time greats getting his number retired which seems to have really inspired this team I'm sure.
We are getting killed in the short passing game and for some reason we are refusing to showcase our ability to do the same. I don't like the feel of this game at all.
Never let a lesser opponent hang with you, they will gain confidence and eventually feel as if they can just as easily win. Explain why the playcalling dramatically changed after our TD drive.

The wind must be kickin pretty hard for us not to even try to get points at the end of the half.
If we barely slip past the 49ers, that's gonna set up next week well. Every expert prognosticator will pick Atlanta and if that happens, I can see us busting out a can on the Falcons.

That is what is so frustrating. If the wind is really that bad, then stop forcing long-ish pass attempts. Heck, we know how good our screen game with PT is, and how electric Bush is out the backfield.

I am surprised that the saints are not playing better since the 49's have shown them absolutely no respect. All week was a arrogant proposal by Singletary thet they would shut down brees. They are backing it up right now. I hope they have the answer the 2nd half.
