I'd rather give a cheap Winston a chance. Worst case scenario we can lean on Taysom. Draft a rookie QB to groom moving forward. This team needs to re-focus on building through the draft. Trading away draft capital for several years is not the answer.

It has the Rams in pretty good position.

Worst case scenario is that we give Winston a shot and he’s not the answer then we draft a rookie and he’s also not the answer. There are some pretty bad scenarios if you think about it.

You put any top QB on the Saints and we are contending for Superbowls on a regular basis.

Lattimore, Peat, a 1st, and one of our comp picks

Saints really don’t have the ammo for this but what would be awesome is if he went to the afc. That would leave the best qbs in the nfc being 43 and 38 years old. Plenty of room for the saints

Would be awesome, but no way we have the funds. At the very least, hopefully he will end up in the AFC.

Even behind that paper thin oline, he put up crazy numbers. Imagine him behind one of the top 3 lines in the league
Part of it is his style of play. He doesn't do the Brees/Brady dink and dunk so his scrambles make him more prone to sacks.
That said, my expectations for the team would be way too high if we got him.

Making millions playing in a beautiful city with an extremely devoted fan base. Sounds terrible.

Apparently Wilson is fed up with his O line. And there inability to protect him.
Link?
Because the article you linked and the tweet inside say teams have called the Seahawks to gauge interest and the Seahawks aren’t interested. Nothing from Wilson.

Will Ciara do free concerts? God, I hope not. She can stay where she's at. Hopefully Russell doesn't get a baby-mama in New Orleans. You know how easy it is.

Sounds like Russ wants to be consulted on personnel decisions.

That still doesn’t mean he wants out. And with Carroll being such a players coach, I’d be surprised if he didn’t talk to Wilson and the OC at least a little bit.
As for players being involved in personnel decisions, that’s a wholly different issue.

No one said he wanted out
He spoke out publicly about not being happy with Schottenheimer being fired as OC. I’m sure this spurned teams to call when he expressed his disapproval of the move

If I were Seahawks I’d do a straight trade with Houston throw in a pick or 2, see how he likes that OL....

Any team needing a QB would be downright idiotic not to make a play for him
Posted on 2/9/21 at 4:06 pm to Tigerbait1977
I feel like they will just draft and/or sign some lineman and he will be happy . I don’t think this is going to be a force out situation. It is an easy fix

The Rams lack of depth ANYWHERE is a huge concern. They are one injury away from falling apart. Their starting XI on both sides are absolutely great on paper, but after that it is a huge drop off.
