This rumor is not invented by WWL. Its been on the internets since yesterday.
He had a decent year last year. If its a relatively short, small deal to make him prove it again, its fine.

If they sign Fairley and give him a contract of a player that is supposed to be a starter... we are screwed.
I'd like him as a cheap rotational guy. He will not fix our problems up front.

On one hand, he shouldn't cost a whole lot, and looked better last year. On the other hand, a lot of guys would look decent playing on the Rams D-line, especially in a contract year. Either way, he would be an upgrade to what we have now, which isn't saying much.
