0Told me this morning Saints and Brees are preparing to announce a 5 year deal for $115,000,000. In fairness, he heard it as an office rumor. We'll see.

It means a co-worker of his told him there's a rumor that a deal with those financial terms is preparing to be announced. Not sure what's hard to understand about that.

I think I know who your friend is then, because I heard the exact same rumor yesterday from someone VERY reliable.

We worked on the defense but nothing works without him. Besides they just said Peyton is the highest paid player on NFL Prime Time so I would love for them to show off Drew's contract! And honestly 23 mil is about right. Brought a terrible franchise to being one of the most marketable, yeah 23 is just about right.
