Rewatch thoughts

Sneaky story of the game was special teams
- Carlson 3/3, love having a reliable kicker
- blocked fg was huge
- Barion’s huge return before half was a huge momentum swing after giving up a TD and able to steal 3 pts.
The Offense
- thought the OL was solid. A few missed blocks; but blitz recognition was MUCH better than vs Lions and Shough had a nice pocket for most of the game
- run game wasn’t much but I thought they had some opportunities… Kamara plays are way too obvious
- Vele super reliable
- Juwan and Olave are doing exactly what you want for guys who get paid, Both have been great.
- Shough is that dude.
On Defense
- pass rush was very good, Young was great but Grando had a huge game.
- interior run D wasn’t great but not terrible, thought it was kind of odd how Ravens went away from the run game w Henry
- Werner and Ellis were EXCELLENT. Werner pouring cold water on anyone who was looking at Stutsman to replace him
- Hard to really judge DBs from a tv replay, but felt like they were solid, Riley and Koolaid were often in tight coverage even when giving up some plays. Importantly they are implementing the scheme and limiting big plays and letting the front get after the QB

OL was not solid. Watch other NFL games and their OL and run game. We have to improve.

Was a very solid B+ game all around. Shough, Olave,Vele, and Johnson all look in synce very ealry. I said before the season this team could have a top 8 offense. I still feel that way if Tyson comes.in ready and we just have an average running game.
Two biggest negatives were the end of first half TD, and not being able to clearly punch it in from the one. Just no O line push.
Chase Young being close to what people thought he would be has made the Turner mistake moot.
I think some of our run game issue is getting behind early and having to go more pass heavy. Would like to get a Q1 lead and see if we can begin to build momentum in the run game. I would like to have Miller, Ettiene, and Kamara all active to just see what each can do against the same defense.

I don't follow them, but hasn't this been a knock against them a couple of games every year. They will clearly have something working with Henry in the run game, then they will suddenly stop giving him the ball while Lamar goes to work. This strategy works more than it doesn't, but when they lose it gets magnified.

Is it true Henry only had 5 rushes in the 2nd half?
That should be a crime against football if true... it's not like they were losing & had to abandon the run... they were leading for most of it

Only had 4 possessions in the 2nd half. Their 1st drive he touched the ball 4 times and it resulted in a 14 play drive ending in a FG. Drive #2 was a 3 & out and he had 1 touch. 3rd drive was another 3 & out and he had 1 touch. 4th drive was when they were trailing at the end of the game

They said the Ravens hardly blitzed, so I don't think we can say blitz pickup was better.

Who is they… because they 13 of 34 drop backs. Thats 38%. The average NFL blitz rate is 29%

Three games in of coarse they have to improve.The Saints need to get a couple of those DLmen back and get better guard play from you know who,he sucks.Kellen Moore has to find a way to get off to to a better start in the first half.

Yeah that game was "Stuts who" by Ol Pete. Great game. I don't know if Staley untethered him or it was just a good match up for him.
