Couldn’t even get the first down on the fake punt.
He did look great on that touchdown against the Falcons last year though.

Him and Chase young have been a total waste of cap dollars by this front office. About 18 combined for this year.

Another reason Loomis should go

Young has at least played a lot of snaps (and has looked good at times, even though the sack numbers are not super).
Williams has barely played this season.

The idiot gave away the fake punt. If you watch the play, he put his hands up for the snap well before the ball was snapped. Easy for the defense to see something was up.

It's not because of him, it's because this team can't figure out how to use him.

He lead the league in TDs with the lions being used primarily in goal line and short yardage situations.

The Lions have a HoF o-line compared to the Saints. Those holes are not there to exploit. to add insult to injury, Kubick and the RB coordinator cannot figure out a way to get him involved.

That season was an absolute outlier in his career. The dude sucks.

The guy has always been a plodder and never scored more than 4 touchdowns in any other season, while usually averaging bellow 4 ypc despite having prune Aaron Rodgers for a defense to game plan around.

He’s well thought of only for his stupid dances and personality.

Yea that bum Drew Brees was a total waste of a roster spot.

I get your pain though. No one thought or should have thought Williams was coming here to repeat what he did in Detroit. Kamara was the guy here and they needed a complimentary piece and took a shot on a player that showed something. I think he was totally misused in 2023 (I pretty much know it by the comments the players had made last season). This season might have been a little better but a D10 dozer couldn't have produced much behind this O-line.

IMO Williams is gone this off season and I hope the Saints go back to the RB well in this draft. Keep cycling mid round RBs until you find the one who can produce in this system.

It's a shame, too, I've met the guy and really like him. He had a great year in Detroit before the Saints signed him. Was hopeful he'd do more.

Hear me out but the fact that his specialty requires a very limited role with great o line play indicates it might be a him problem for why he isn’t producing like he did in that one very limited window of his career

Hold the Mayo says he runs like he’s in a bathroom and that is strangely accurate.
