No, with our schedule and this being a home game, this pretty well fricks us unless we play lights out the rest of the season and that would require something similar to a defense being on the field, which we won't have.

Agree plenty of time but if we don't get a stop here, time isn't the issue. Need a stop and then a score. No trust in our defense to stop them consistently.

That was a series where missing your head coach hurts. After the flag, Payton would've ran a draw or screen to get 7-8 yards and have a more manageable 2nd & 12. Instead, they go for 20+ yards passes each play.

Someone needs to bring back some kind of defensive incentive. Defense is flat not having anything to play for. Isn't there something the coaches can offer?
