Count your blessings. As long as Detroit or Cleveland have had a franchise neither has ever even played in the Super Bowl. Cleveland has had a franchise for almost 80 years and Detroit for 95 years.

Yes, I can see the San Antonio Saints winning one.

Impossible to say really, things change fast in pro sports. We can only hope a new regime and QB brings the change we need to get to that level.
Were any of us really thinking in 2004 or 05 especially that the Saints would be winning a Super Bowl in a few years?
Anyone around 2011 think Aaron Rodgers would never even make it to another Super Bowl?
How about 5 years ago thinking Brady would win 2 more, including one with another team?
Or the Bengals of all teams playing in one and back to back AFCCG appearances.

Not with our current ownership and front office.

I know anything is possible etc, but do you ever really see the saints winning another one again? If so how soon
The Saints are much more likely now than they were at anytime that Mecom owned the Saints and probably about the same as anytime pre Payton except maybe during part of Mora's tenure.
So much can change quickly with the right personnel both staff and players in just a few key positions.

They’ll win the Super Bowl when the team is located in Barcelona in 2235.

This is a question for Ms. Cleo
Do you have a number for the other side? She's been dead like 7 years lol

If Tampa can win a second one, so can we. It’ll take some luck, maybe get Mahomes on his retirement tour, Like Brady did with the bucs.

In the four years prior to this season the Eagles won 31 games. In the past four seasons including this season the Saints won 41 games. They are a lot closer than you think to becoming a contender. If they can land a good QB who stays healthy they could become an explosive offensive team with those young receivers and hopefully Thomas and Jarvis can become productive again. They need a solid RB to keep the load off Kamara and utilize him more in the passing game. The defense is top half of the league, maybe even better if the offense controls the ball and allows them to remain fresh. There is a lot of parity in the league and the Saints were a handful of plays from being a 10 game winner this season.

Both franchises have 4 NFL titles and much richer histories than the Saints. Let’s not be so myopic to think the Saints have a richer history than the Browns or Lions because until the late 60s the merger with AFL and the actual “Super Bowl” didn’t exist.
The Saints are not even in the top 20 winning percentage and are a sub .400 team without SP era.
The smart money would suggest unless you’re under 40 you’ve seen the one and only Saints Super Bowl. All of the NFC South has made the Super Bowl more recently than the long 13 years since the Saints made their one and only appearance.

If they make another Super Bowl in the next few seasons it'll be due to a weak NFC and great luck.
A decade from now? I'd say chances are as good as anyone.

No chance until Goodell is gone. No way he gives them a fair shot of winning one.

I was born in 1967. I never thought that Skip Bertman would win a National Title.
I never thought LSU football would be National Champs.
I never thought the Astros Would win big after my heart was crushed in 1986.
Never thought the saints would win a SB.
I am still hoping to get laid…anything is possible.

Absolutely......because I never thought they would ever win it at all. If they can do it once it can be done again.

Go ahead and mark it down. The San Antonio Saints will win Super Bowl 72 against the London Jaguars.
