Jamies is going to be great this year. I think they’ll make it to a divisional round, possibly a nfc championship. Winston throes for 4400 yards, 33 touchdowns, and 10 picks.

All these Winston guys in here acting like Jameis didn't get a shot to sling it against SF and almost throw 2 picks into stupid coverage and a bunch of checkdowns.

Jameis isn't a good, heady player. No situational awareness, progression ability, or swag. Never had any of these things outside of his redshirt freshman season.

This is true but it did not happen in an offense designed for him, to maximize his strengths and minimize his weaknesses. Again, I don’t have any idea what’s going to happen but there’s a chance!

the problem is he's competing against Hill who has worse situational awareness, progression ability, and swag...and throws one of the worst deep balls in NFL history

in 5 years with Tampa Bay he was 61% passer.

121 TD 88 interceptions

that last year when he threw the 30 interceptions he was also sacked 47 times.

the next closest number to that was 35 times in 2016 his second season.

I guess I'll put him down for 4,700 passing yards 30 TDs 14 interceptions

64% pass completion rate

do you any one of yous guys bet at the boats in Biloxi
I'd be interested in placing prop bets on Jameis if they are available.

Also, if anyone knows... what is the Saints over/under for wins this year?

I expect a bunch of Winston homers to be really upset that Winston can't meet their expectations.

Hanging around Brees and changing his attitude will not stop him from the bonehead decisions of throwing interceptions.

24 TDs - 20 INTs

Won't finish the year as the starter.

Jamies Winston

Won a college national championship. Won the Heisman trophy. Rookie of the year. Threw for more than 5,000 yards as a pro. He has Kamara in the backfield. I think Jameis will have an excellent season. Sentence fragments [on].

I'm going to go about 4000 yds, 30 TDs, 10 int. He's not going to hit prime Brees numbers his first year, but will still have a very solid year.

Jameis actually is really good with his progressions and coaches have stated this. He just tries to make throws he shouldn’t at times.

As an avid Jameis defender i disagree completely. If he flops he flops. We get a new QB in the draft and build from there.

If Jameis fixes some things we have a potential franchise QB. No real loss either way

This team full of cream of the crop superstars and they will rally around Jamies and he will win games for us. People are extremely underestimating this guy’s abilities.
4000 yards 32 TD 12 picks would have more yards but we will have one of the league’s best running games. The Saints didn’t move on from many offensive players this year so we could help Jamies grow with our system.
I think we got lucky again with the QB position and stole a prime player for a song and dance.
