rattler has certainly seemed the most consistent out of the 3 so far and he's got the starting experience, as mixed as that may be

It means, if healthy CEH and Miller are the backups, and Velus Jones gets more snaps in preseason games

There are quite a lot of people here that just have no idea how to approach this season

Those guys throw a lot of interceptions in practice. That is not a good sign because game time is going to be amped up a lot more than practices.

It seems that HC needs to start penalizing the QBs for interceptions because they just are not taking ball security seriously and those practice interceptions will become game blowouts.

Eh don’t agree with that approach in training camp. These guys need reps, penalizing only hurts potential development.

We need to see what all the QBs offer and be prepared to draft another one next year until we get it right. That’s just the way it is.

Sounds like he’s in a 3way comp for 3rd behind AK and kendre, with Velus entrenched as a specialty back.

And it’s not like the secondary is made up of a bunch of scrubs either. If the d-line can do their job, this secondary will give some teams fits

I never like to see anyone get hurt but his may be a blessing for the Saints in the short term.

AK is AK and will be the #1
Clyde E-H has been a solid vet in camp
Kendra Miller reportedly has been very good and focused.
Velus Jones has impressed and is versicle

All could make the 53 man roster and contribute day 1.

Having Neal start on pup or IR and not count against the roster may be a blessing for not making the staff make a hard decisions of cutting one of them. At least get to week 4 or 6 and then they will have a better ides of what they have. Sucks he'll miss valuable practice time but having him stashed away isn't a bad problem to have.

If it were Miller that tweaked the hamstring I'd feel different. Neal doesn't have a injury history so I think all will be good.

Hard pass. Injuries no good for rookies.

What?!

Having a rookie miss valuable camp time is not good, not like CEH or Jones were some high commodities waiting to get scooped up off the waiver wire.
