Black helmets were awesome. Now put some stripes on the black pants so they don’t look like leotards. That combo with white jerseys would work for road games and sub into black jerseys for home games.

I'm no Saints apologist but I don't think they're that bad. My main gripe is the logo on the helmet was too small.

i feel it was their last ditch effort to make something of the black helmets they had to wear another time or two. they are experimenting, who gives a shite if it didn't work as a long term betterment of our uniform.

Hot take, but I think there is room for all black with a better version of the black helmet (without the little fleur d'lis) if anything it's less to mess up. I can't fathom how we keep managing to frick up our classic gold by going beige.
