Honestly this seems like a solid draft. Other than Haener I would be surprised if any of the others don’t stick on this roster for the next 3 years and provide something. Game changing 2017 production? No idea. But also don’t think this turns into a 1 or 2 person class when we look back in 3-5 years.

I mean his pro comparison is Marcus Davenport. I don’t know if thats a good or bad thing. Honestly I remember people shitting(experts) on the 2017 draft and we killed it. Kind of scares me that they actually liked our draft. Who knows really.

The one that excites me the most so far is Foskey. His enthusiasm and just flat out excitement of being drafted by a team he loves is refreshing.
He seems to be a hard worker and has a great 40 time. Would LOVE to see him flourish and become a sack-machine for us. I think one of our bigger problems is when we give a QB time to sit in the pocket and pick us apart.

I hope you’re right but what scares me a little is how upright and stiff he looks at times. As athletic as he seems to be on his gametape it doesn’t pop out as much.

What are everyone's thoughts on saldiveri?
I watched like a 2 min highlight clip and looked decent.
Seems like if he goes against some bigger guys he will easily get overpowered. Has good feet.
I know he played right tackle. I could see him playing guard if he gets more power.

As much as I complain on this board, the Saints have shown that they can specifically take small school OL and make them pro bowlers- Jahri, Armstead and Bushrod especially in the mid rounds. I think he might be the most successful pick out of this whole draft honestly.

One thing with foskey is you know he at least has that floor and motor. Seems like they may have learned their lesson after getting burned by the turner and to a lesser degree davenport picks.
I love the pick, especially at 40.

The ONLY issue with Davenport was health.
So as long as the comparison has nothing to do with health, it is a great pick.

Sacks are highly variable. Pressures matter more, and his run defense was outstanding from day 1.

Bro 0.5 sack???? Not even a full sack the whole season??? Theres no way to sit here and tell me a starting DE cant get 1 sack the whole season lol
